Sheet Music

Each band program, especially middle school beginning band classes, uses some classroom methods in addition to the music that they prepare for concerts each year. These classroom method books are published for each instrument and are designed to use the entire class together. The exercises progress in difficulty the farther you get in the book. Some will have sections in the book dedicated to instrument-specific exercises, whether going over the break for clarinets or simple lip slurs for the brass. 

Most books have a fingering chart, steps to assemble and disassemble the instrument, form the embouchure, and hold the instrument or sticks/mallets for the percussion. Books such as I Recommend do not have fingering charts as they are more advanced books that are often used from the second year of playing. Please see below for a list of the Band Classroom Methods we carry.
